Step 3: Compliance procedure
For most products, the manufacturer is allowed to take care of the CE-marking processby himself.
However, there are exceptions and this has consequences for the compliance procedure that needs to be followed. A notified body may need to be involved. National legislation may require additional tests or reviews.
